Abranet is an abrasive that is unique from standard sand paper: it features a net structure instead of a conventional paper backing. Abranet is highly resistant to dust pilling and clogging, ensuring optimal usage for every abrasive.
Each grit delivers excellent results, from the original Abranet to its many variations. The abrasives are best combined with Mirka’s efficient and ergonomic power tools and dust extractors.
Abranet’s polyamide fabric net structure ensures a sanding particle is never more than 0.5 mm from a dust extraction hole. With on-tool dust extraction from virtually the entire abrasive surface, sanding grains are able to retain their cutting power and the resulting dust is safely removed.
The multifunctional and classic Abranet is especially developed for sanding putty, primers, lacquers, composite materials and a wide range of other materials for industrial use. Abranet combines high performance and a longer lifespan than traditional abrasives, making it a cost-effective solution. Designed for dry sanding by machine or by hand, its true dust-free sanding characteristics result in a cleaner work environment, as well as a better surface finish.
